Card Games
Knightowl produces Shards of Alchemy and a number of other items. Knightowl’s card games are tabletop games that primarily use cards as their play mechanism. Tablespace is dominated by cards drawn and put into play without using a game board.
Old World Games
Knightowl produces Zencho and other wooden constructed tabletop games made for outdoor use. These Knightowl games only use wood other than metal clasps for the game pieces and board. Play is typically fairly simple.
Boardgames
Knightowl produces SOL (Solar System) and other board games. We use innovations in modern construction, mostly made of layered cardboard for the game board, cards and most other elements in these intricate, thematic games. Some plastic or other materials are also used in game pieces and supporting elements.
Knightowl produces a number of items useful in other games in the marketplace, and related to the topics of games, such as display posters, game counters, and game storage utilities.
SOL SECTOR
LODESTAR
This science fiction themed game, currently in finalization to prepare for print and release. Lodestar is an extensive RPG system. supported by a stand-alone space combat system, vehicle combat system, and other related accessories (such as the Sol Sector Poster and Star Sector kit). Learning and thinking should be fun challenges. Knightowl Games provides a means of bringing us together in a lively and enjoyable forum, centered around artful game boards. With chance, wit, intuition and inspiration we discover ourselves and others more fully.
Our games avoid excessive use of plastics and overpackaging, aiming for sturdiness, and portability with environmentally friendly construction.
